Imran
Registered Physiotherapist
I am a Registered Physiotherapist with extensive experience working in private orthopedic clinics, providing evidence-based care while taking on leadership responsibilities. My clinical interests include orthopedic rehabilitation, medical acupuncture, vestibular rehabilitation, and concussion management, allowing me to provide comprehensive, individualized treatment for a wide range of conditions.
I believe that every patient deserves a personalized treatment plan. My approach combines education, hands-on manual therapy, and targeted exercise programs to reduce pain, restore function, and help prevent future injuries. I work closely with each patient to understand their goals and develop a plan that supports long-term recovery and overall well-being.
My philosophy is simple: "My Passion is Getting You Back to Your Passion." Whether you're recovering from an injury, managing chronic pain, or looking to improve your mobility and performance, I am committed to helping you achieve your goals with compassionate, patient-centered care.

Aakanxa Shah, RMT
Registered Massage Therapist (RMT)
Aakanxa Shah is a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) with a strong foundation in anatomy, physiology, and the practical skills needed to support recovery, mobility, and overall well-being. A strong medical background from India continues to inform how she approaches assessment and treatment today, though her current registration and scope of practice in Ontario is as an RMT.
After relocating to Canada, Aakanxa completed a comprehensive massage therapy program, and is registered with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO).
Aakanxa offers both Swedish and deep tissue massage, and takes a thoughtful, individualized approach to care — building treatment plans around each client's goals, comfort, and health history rather than working from a one-size-fits-all routine. Whether the focus is relaxation, pain management, or improving mobility, she aims to make every session both effective and comfortable.
Aakanxa is committed to ongoing professional development and practises in accordance with the Standards of Practice set by the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO).

Shawn Bobby
Licensed Acupuncturist
I am a Licensed Acupuncturist with a passion for helping people restore balance, reduce pain, and improve their overall well-being. I take an individualized approach to care, using the principles of Chinese medicine to understand each person’s unique needs and develop treatments that support the body’s natural ability to heal and regulate itself.
I aim to create a calm, supportive environment where patients feel heard and comfortable throughout their treatment. Whether someone is seeking relief from pain and physical discomfort, support for an ongoing health concern, or simply looking to improve their overall health and vitality, I work with each individual to create a personalized treatment approach based on their goals and constitution.

Jianina Montecillo
Physiotherapist Assistant
My name is Jianina Montecillo, though I’m often called Gia or Jaja. I am a licensed physiotherapist in the Philippines, and I completed my Physiotherapist Assistant program at Anderson College from 2019 to 2021. Before moving to Canada, I worked as a physiotherapist in a hospital setting, where I had the opportunity to care for patients with a wide range of medical and musculoskeletal conditions.
I now bring those experiences and the knowledge I gained along the way into my role as a Physiotherapist Assistant at Victoria Park Physiotherapy and Wellness. Working in Canada has broadened my perspective on patient care and given me the opportunity to connect with people from different cultures, backgrounds, and walks of life.
Every day, I continue to learn new techniques and approaches while working alongside different healthcare professionals and caring for patients with their own unique needs and goals. What I enjoy most about my work is the connection I build with our patients and the clinic team.
Although the work can be demanding at times, it is incredibly rewarding to see patients improve from one session to the next, gain confidence in their abilities, and move closer to achieving their goals. Being able to support them throughout that journey and knowing that I’ve played even a small part in their progress is what makes my work so fulfilling.
